Hi guys
Need some advice.
Was in the boot checking over the engine and the plug leads are arcing a bit. Wondered if anyone had fitted the magnecor leads and if they were any good.
Thanks all

Alan,
The magnecor leads are very good quality. I have them on my '85. Are you in the states? If so, email me and I'll give you a 'secret' source where you can get these for under $50. Happy Motoring...Jim '85TE
Hi Jim,
Thanks for that, I'm here in rainy UK so will probably go to SJ.
They are better than the NGK standard ones then???
BTW what do you think are the best plugs for the Esprit, whilst doing the leads I might as well do them to.

Alan,
I don't know if Magnecor are 'better' than NGK. They are both excellent leads. I replaced my NGK's with Magnecors primarily due to cost and the fact that they carry a lifetime guarantee. But, Magnecor has a long, positive reputation amongst racers which can't be all bad either. Btw, my secret for cheaper leads will probably apply 'Across the Pond' as well. Since the Jensen Healey used the 9XX engine, check a Jensen Healey parts supplier. The leads are the same, but often much cheaper. Hope this helps. Happy Motoring...Jim '85TE
