Stumble between 2500 and 3000 rpm

I've got a 1990 esprit SE and the car stumbles when I press the gas pedal between 2500 and 3000 rpm. What could be the problem? Teava.

Hello,i`ve had the same problem on my SE.I´ve checked the ECM(read out the memory).I`ve got one fault on it.(Spark timing circuit).
I have changed the ECM and everything is ok.
