Does anyone happen to know the size and type of the fittings on the flexible brake line hoses on an SE?

Not right off hand but I know a person who might have a set of stainless steel Aeroquip lines for sale.

Yah, I was going to go stainless. And I was trying to come up with a high-quality/economically-priced alternative. There is an outfit, Pegasus Auto Racing Supplies, that sells pre-assembled SS braided Teflon hoses in various lengths with 3 and 4 AN fitting sizes. These sell for $15 to $25 USD each. They also sell the materials for you to construct them yourself with fittings that are 3AN, 4AN, 10MM, and 1/8" BSP. They also have several adapter fittings.

That's the long answer. The short answer is... if he is letting them go for a reasonable amount, I could be interested. I really would rather not research this. I have other things I could be doing. how do I contact this chap?

I just emailed him 2 questions.
The first if he still had them as it was a few months ago when they were for sale.

The second question was if he already sold them what were the size of the fittings on them.

Walt,
I just replaced my front brakes and lines, and I have two adaptors left over. The adaptor goes from the factory metric (sorry I don't know the metric size) to -3 AN for stainless lines. What you really need are the same adaptor but in a bulkhead fitting. These are threaded longer for mounting to the tang or flare where the hard break line meets the flexible line. You are welcome to the adaptors I have but again, they are not bulkhead fittings, but are the correct adaptor. If I knew how to post a photo in this reply then I would show you the two types of adaptors. Can you or anyone else instruct me on how to send a photo in a reply?

John: You could just e-mail it to me if you can't figure it out. I'd help, but I have never done it either.
