Blow off valve not making much noise anymore...

I have just purchsed a 94' Esprit and notice the nice sound of the blow off valve. Now
a week later i notice that i am not getting much of a sound from the blow off valve unless
shifting at high rpms (5,000-6,500).

Being new to this kind of performance upgrade, i dont know if i am freaking out or there is
something wrong.

any thoughts...?

what type is it?

piston or diaphram

your diaphram could be split,,,are you getting full boost though?

After closer inspection, i saw the attached vacume hose was split at both ends and nearly
fell off in my hand when i touched it! easy fix. thanks for responding!

As far as the BOV goes..you have to get the HKS SSQV BOV.it is by far the best one out there..

yeah and a HKS one sound like a trapped gerbil,,,so so funny, but
they are the boll#x, and you can change the sound aswell, misses
has one on her supra beast car
