V8 ABS light on--Speedometer not working--any idea?
Discussion
Just finished doing my clutch and dual exhaust to my V8.
While the car is on the lift, I run the car.
The ABS light turned on and the speedo didn't work.
Someone told me the ABS light will turn off once I run on both tires (front & Back).
Is Speedo sensor also in the front?....(also not working).
Used to work before I did the clutch & exhaust system. Didn't touch
anything to ABS & Speedo sensor.
I tested the car today and the Speedo still not working and the ABS
light still on. I ran the car 5 miles.
Do I need to reset the ecu?
Where is the Ecu connection (OBDII) plug located?
Thanks a lot

Thanks Dave,
You mentioned, the ABS is in a separate ECU. To reset the ABS ecu the same
as doing the OBDII in the Engine ECU?
Is the ABS ecu located behind the battery area?
Another question, I don't have a OBDII reader, is there any specific OBDII I need to buy or I can pick any OBDII reader in local auto parts?
My V8 is 1999
Thanks a lot.
