What model Esprit is your favorite?
Discussion
The first Esprit I have ever encountered and fell in love with was a White Esprit SE Turbo.
However, my favorite Esprit Model is the S4. I dont know what it is, I absolutely Love it!
As for my favorite wing, I would say the SE, the S4 and the current V8 wing look best in my opinion. The S4 wing can look a bit fugly at certain angles, but nonetheless is a work of art.

Hi all,
Personally, I favor the original design by Guigiaro. He was named 'Designer of the Century' having designed numerous cars including the Maseratti Bora and Ghibli. The lines of the early Esprits are pleasing, though dated, in their correct height and proportion.
Peter Stevens is credited with the later Esprit design, but I don't consider it a true design as he obviously just rounded the edges of the 'G' model design. Don't get me wrong, the Stevens style is pleasing enough, but somewhat akin to changing the dress on the Mona Lisa - Da Vinci is still the creator.
Interestingly enough, one has only to look at the Masserati 'Boomerang', a one-off design by Guigiaro shown at the Geneva Auto Show in '69 to see where the inspiration for the Esprit came from ...Jim '85TE

Its got to be an S1 in white like the original James Bond Lotus, or a 2002 V8 in blue or black
Edited to add: I also like the JPS Special Edition, but I prefer the Wolface wheels of the S1, the gold wheels of the JPS always seem to remind me of a drug dealer or pimp's car.....

Difficult, however.....
S2 for the classic shape,(JPS colours too!)
S3 N/A for the full unadulterated classic package.
Early Stephens, sans huge spoilers, preferably in silver...
That said, it's the Guigiaro that does the trick for me. Still wondering whether I could live with one though?
