here's a tidbit that'll make your life easier. i just fitted the K&N oil filter, which has a standard six sided bolt cap welded to the shell. there is ample room to turn it with an open ended spanner, without first removing any lotus parts. [applause] i don't forsee any incompatability issues because an oil filter is an oil filter. please note this is a recommendation and not an endorsement.
