I pulled a spark plug cable out while the engine was running and now It wont start at all. It used to start all the time. 84 turbo I am a novice with engines and probaly should leave it to the pros.

Monti,
There are so many possible causes, it's not feasible to cover them all here, but, be sure to check all the connections at the distributor, especially the coil. Check Fuse #s 22 & 23 to see if they blew when you pulled the wire. Be sure that the inertia switch for the fuel pumps didn't trip and that all the conections in the ignition box are tight and corrosion free. I'm betting you got something disconnected rather than 'broke' anything. Let me know if I can help further...Jim '85TE

Good one, the intertia switch gets me all the time. Jim did a good job of explaning the other items to look for too.
