I dont know how I missed it but I was in Auckland a few times recently. I was on a sailing trip and sailed in from New Caledonia ( after FIJI and Vanuatu ). I sailed in to OPUA and down the coast to Tauranga, then took a bus to Wellington and then visited friends in Martinborough. Overall a month in NZ

Great pics. The pacific is our best kept secret. Glad you did it by boat as I know how lovely it must have been. I used to go on windsurfing trips to a small northern island called Nananu-I-ra (sp) off the main land of Fiji. Known for consistent trade winds in our winter months. It’s truly amazing. Did you visit Rarotonga and Aitutaki. Aitutaki is arguably one the world’s most beautiful lagoons.

Anyway glad you enjoyed it here and perhaps if you ever come down again we'd put you up for a night and a night out

I did spend 10 days in Raro.... over Christmas and new years... was good fun ... did not get off the main island tho

Cool! We tied the knot last August there at the Crown Resort, superb weather, perfect everything that day!
