anyone know why there are big fat wires (the size that supplies the starter motor directly from the battery) running through my A reg dash board wiring loam. I thought they would be for tranfering heavy current but they seem to be supplied by a very small wire in comparison. There are three, a brown, a yellow and a white one. The reason I'm asking is because I'm building a kit car and would like to remove them if they have no use.

I have no idea what an "A Reg" car is, so I have no idea if you are talking about an 1980 Esprit or a 2004 Esprit...
It would be helpful to always post your model and year, when you are asking questions.

good point. Its a 1980 turbo esprit. Not sure other than that as I have the bits not the total car I'm afraid.

There are Power Terminals located behind the Right Windshield Interior Trim Panel.
What you are seeing is probably some of the Supply Wires coming from the battery.
