Any joy with the photo's yet?? Who did you use??

I'm really interested to know as i've found some Esprits with the tatty seats where they've let everybody sit in them and its taken its toll. What did it cost as well??

Rog.

Hi - Still waiting for the trimmer to send them onto me - I'll have to give hime a reminder!

Right, description - full leather retrim in black and red leather with black alcantara dash. Black with red centre sterring wheel. Embroidered Lotus logo on headrests and on top of glove compartment. Red leather handbrake and gear gator, seath belt eschushions. Reprofiled seats - now lower with more lateral support...super comfy! Dash redesigned to house Road Pilot radar detector / camera detector. Centre console in black ..pillars...etc etc. All stitching double, red on black and black on red. Broken speedo fixed whilst at it. Carpets all replaced, quality black with red binding. rubber inset on drivers side. Door cards redisigned slightly to look more modern...ash trays hidden by covering same leather as door.
Cost...£2500
Sounds like a lot but to be honest it was in the workshop for two full weeks and was completely gutted. It feels like a new car inside since apart from everything looking so sweet it has been put together like new.

The company is just outside Huddersfield (a fair drive for me in Lincoln),,,but worth it :-)

Company is Precision Trimming:

Bret is the man to talk to - very helpfull and got great vision about what he can do to the car...fantastic...I am blown away....but then again it's not cheap. But I am happy and so is the car! Photos will follow as soon as I get them.

Best
Steve

Yeah, now i really want to see them. I'm surprised you didn't stick to Magnolia, mind you Black is probably more practical in an Esprit. I think you'll really notice the difference, make it feel like a whole different car!!

Get those pictures on son, chop chop!!!

Yes, called Bret tonight to give him a shout for the pics...he took some during the job so we can see it in progress, I (silly) didn't take any b4 it was done. However, everyone that sees it says it is the dogs bits!

If Bret has trouble getting the pics to me I will take some snaps myself of the finished job...

One of the most outstanding things is the drive position - I cant believe it is so much better with an inch or so lowered...no pedal fuss and no cramped feeling. It is just lovely. Tons of lateral support too for cornering!

Do it guys...your old Esprit (pre..95) must need it by now!

ie: 1988, perfect (ish!) body, sound chassis and mechanicals (had a new engine at 35,000 miles so actually only 30,000 on the clock!)...only thing spoiling the package was the tired interior. So, looking at it now...showroom....new alloys next??????

comments?

Hi'yall. Took some pics today....and since I have not posted images on here before I now find that there's no easy way to upload them....bum.

I first have to construct a web site...upload them onto that (via dial up I'm afraid) and then point this forum to them.

Mmmmmmm.....

Will get to it!

Cripes what a contrast I really like the lotus emblem on the headrest. The detail in the stitching is great. Nice job
