I mean, they know all that fancy IT-type stuff yet can't even say 'f*** you' clearly
FFS, if it was me I'd go on Babelfish or whatever and come up with

Ваша мать всасывает краны в аде

OK so that's Russian, but you get the idea

Edit: well it was Russian when I pasted it...

Did the site itself get hacked or just the toolbar shortcut to the site?

On one pc, I've got a toolbar shortcut for LEW and that brought up the hacked page. On the other PC, I just typed in LEW's URL and it was normal. Once I deleted the shortcut on the first pc and replaced it, everything was ok.

I also ran spybot and it didn't report anything amiss.

They did the same to www.lotusclubonline.co.uk at the point they became the official website for Club Lotus hence the slow re start to the site. Seems they are targeting Lotus sites SELOC beware!!

It was our home url of: www.glcforum.com/ukesprit/forums/
That got hacked, depending how you bookmarked the site some people
had no problems at all. When it happened i just pulled the URL to a
random thread from my history bar, and viewed using that way in until
it was fixed.

As with you, i ran spyware doctor and mt anti virus, but it would seem
the purpose of this hack is to say 'yeah, we can', but not to cause any
damage. Like knocking on a door and running (i never did that, honest).

They have done this to literally thousands of IPB boards, we're not a target!

I think they or he hit the Lotus Excel site as well. So maybe we are targets as this has all happened in the last 4-6 months yet other non Lotus sites I use seem to have been Turkish hacker free. It also seems a very big coincidence that the hacker was proud to anounce his Turkish origin's.
