I have an 87 hci esprit turbo (Fed., U.S.). After my last C service, my idle was slower (appr. 800 rpms) even on cold start. Later I noticed my economy light was not blinking when it should.
I have done the following to get my econ. light back on, BUT THE ECON. LIGHT STILL DOES NOT WORK:
Changed all relays; changed bulb
Changed tps
Checked all vacuum hoses
My fuel bypass valve is not working. Should I change the fuel bypass valve, OR is the slower idle causing the problem which in turn causes the fuel bypass valve to not work/open??
I have been getting much help in the U.S., but problem still not solved. Anyone in the U.K. with any ideas for this fuel injected turbo?? THANKS.
