You too. I hope you find an Esprit in 06 and start living your dream. I still think you let a good one get away in passing up my ride. I'm sure there are more, though!

Thank you! I have to tell you I do regret ALOT not doing it. but shit happens and then some.

And to be honest, I do not think there are more. I have been eyeing them for months and there really is no safe deal, yours was the perfect one. It really was. All the ones that are available now are like 500-1000 miles away from me and I am not going to make a big thing out of it to see them mostly because of time and the fact none of them have records. The only way I would purchase one now is if there is one within a reasonable distance from me and from a club member. I do not trust all these ones on Ebay, especially when the main highlight of the ad is "Blows Cold A/C" Ah well, live and learn. The only good thing that came out of it is that I was able to save up some nice chunk of change for whatever car I decide to end up with.

If there are any club members looking to sell, give me a ring. If the car is serviced and decently priced, I may be a willing buyer. 914 384 9306

I think I am just scared about doing it more than evere now because I just keep thinking what if something goes wrong, it will be such a pain in the ass to have to find the time to evaluate the problem, possibly set up an appointment to a garage across the Tappan Zee, then finding time and a person to follow me and bring me since I have opened my own business with my brother, I work about 7 days a week, and only have a half day off every now and again.

I may be buying a 350Z since it will be new and warranted. Sure it is no Esprit, sure it isnt fast at all. But it looks half way decent I think and has some nice grown up amenities compared to the 5.0 Stangs I would be coming from.

Also, I am thinking, maybe the Esprit just isnt for my taste anymore, but then again I maybe trying to just make excuses so I dont feel anxiety over buying a car that may put me in more debt than anything else. Either way, if you know anyone with service records, FULL records, and a decent price and mileage, let me know.

FYI, I sold my daily driver (Saab 9-5) and the Lotus and picked up a lease on an 04 GTO. I'm happy with it - fast and comfortable - and no worries about repairs. I took over someone's lease for $300 a month for 30 months. Seemed like a great deal. You can find other leases at LS1GTO.com
