saw a pic about a year ago where somebody installed a little air-to-air unit on a (I think) 1988 Bosch injection car. In this case, the installation and workmanship was hideous if not well below sub par.
Nothing to be learned from that picture.
Anyway-- where are you going to locate a large air-to-air cooler close to the engine, where it can get DIRECT ambient temperature ram air flow, and not cut up the body?
Lotus didn't either, apparently, and went to an air-to-water unit.
Not trying to be sassy, but that's the way it is.
I think there are some fellows in England that have chargecooled their carb'ed turbo cars 'tho.
