There was no justice to the Esprit in these cut ups! I think it looked like a Lambo had a baby with an 80's Camero... Rather happy that this is not "the one" personally...
Interesting: From the front it looks elegant and sleek, but from the rear is looks like a drab slab. These prototype drawings tend to be way off the mark anyway.
Styling not signed off yet but several proposals about..... I don't think the esprit will happen - esp not for late 97 early 98 as predicted. Costs are huge and lack of engineering contracts to piggyback the technology off of
Lawrence, your such the downer! Everywhere else the reports are the design has been finalized and in wind tunnel testing. With over 100 engineers on the project and Lotus is going full force on this car. why do you keep saying on various sites this downer talk?
