Door Panel Removal Pictures Posted

Just got done removing the door panel on my '99 V8 to fix a rattle. If anyone else is intersted, I've posted some pictures on the net that might be of help.

Jeff - that's great. Both my doors rattle. Thats exactly what i needed to help me out with fixing this myself. Will give it a go at the weekend.

Are your rattles all gone now?

Glad I could help a fellow "Lotuser"! The rattles are gone!

All it took was a slight bend in each of the door latch connecting rods so they don't slop around in the support clips. Then I tightened up the screws on the speaker - all were loose. Finally, I secured the wires to the window lift motor with some tie wraps.

It's a piece of cake! Less than 30 minutes per door.

Remember, there are two screws on the bottom of the door that I couldn't get a good picture of. They need to be removed. Once all five screws are removed, just pull out slightly on the bottom of the panel and lift it odd the door frame.
