Hi there,

Just fitted my new BOV's today but because I had visitors, ended up finishing it in the dark! Crazy I know but it's all working now.
Had a nightmare of a job trying to find the hole to put a bolt back in the dark. This one bolt alone took me nearly an hour to do. Job was a bit awkward as it was hard wrok getting the old hose out and new tee piece in. I had to cut down the tee piece to make it fit. Job would taken about 2 hours. I thought the boot floor would be the most difficult but it only took me 15 minutes to get out.

Results, after initial problems with my turbo not boosting, I found it must have been a leaking boost pipe. It all works fine but it relatively quiet. Iam going to blank off each one just to make sure they are both working.
The Ptssshhh sounds is very quick not like my previous 4 cylinder BOV.

Mine are twin piston Bailey type. I know you use these for cars with air flow meters and the Esprit doesn't have one but does anyone know if this will affect the sound on a car that only needs a single piston type?

Will post pics up as soon as I get a dry day!

I bought bailey valves for my v8, they were the piston type & are being fitted with the engine during its rebuild, cant wait!

What i do know is that if the valves are the recirculating type, they hardly make a sound which is a shame
