After this season i start to hate my SE.
The problems of that year:
ECM was changed
High pressure line of the air condition changed
Cracks in the frame
Cracks in the exhaust manifold

And i have to say that my car is very well serviced. But these kind of problems doesn`t happens on another sportscars.
I´m drivin sportscars since 17 years but only my Lotuses making trouble.
I think about to sell my Esprit. It`s enough!
I like to buy an boring Porsche, because it is very reliable.GERMAN QUALITY and PERFECTION!
God save us from storm and wind and cars from UK!

Sorry that you have had such trouble. The Epsrit is a high maintenence item. A lot like a very good looking women they demand a lot of attention unless you get a boring one too . Don't give up the cars can bring you both a lot of joy and sadness.

Sorry to hear of your troubles. Everyone should be HAPPY with their car! I certainly am with mine, foibles, greater maintenance requirements and all.

Your solution is simple:

If you HATE your car - SELL IT!!
Let the next guy LOVE it.

If a Po*#che makes you HAPPY: BUY ONE!!
I personally wouldn't be caught DEAD in one, but then again, that's me.

I get frustrated with Lotus owners who constantly complain about their cars. Lotus makes a great car and one with an exceptional lineage that only a few car companies can match. This would include Po*#che who has spent the past 50+ years trying to perfect what is essentially a fundamentally flawed design (Note the $13k active suspension system on the latest GT2, all designed to keep the rear where it should be naturally). Lotus innovations now permeate the general automobile population, (Chapman Struts, Covette LT1 engine etc.)something Po*#che cannot claim.

Perhaps these owners didn't fully realize what they were taking on, but were merely enamored with the car after seeing 'Pretty Woman' or a Bond movie. If they come to realize later that this is not the car for them, then they should sell it and move on to one that satisfies their needs.

And, if reliability is your ultimate requirement, I doubt that a Po*#che will satisfy it either, especially once you are finished paying for parts and service. You may be happier exploring some of the sport coupes coming out of Japan.

BE HAPPY...!!!
