In November 1972, the Lotus Esprit concept car was introduced at the Turin Auto Show.

In November 1993, The official word is given to designers at Hethel. They have 27 months to come up with the V8 engine for the next gen Esprit. The Lotus 918 is the result.

I had to look up "ephemerid" in my dictionary. It sounded like some sort of wiggly insect you find in the garden

Yes, I was going to title the information block "Miscellaneous Lotus Sh!t" but the phrase was too long to fit on the title of the block
