I had a faulty battery on my 1998 Esprit V8 GT Turbo and after replacing it with a new one the engine fault light is permenantly on. Is there a way to get rid of the fault light without taking it into a dealer.

How long have you had the fault and have you checked the alternator?

Cheers,

The car was left in the garage for several weeks and the battery went flat. I tried to charge the battery but it wasn't holding its charge for more than a day or so. The new battery is fine but I can't get the engine fault light to go off. I presume the ECM needs a reset.
