Right, I fitted her at the weekend and have now had a couple of days to get used to it.

On the whole I am both happy and impressed. The build quality of the exhaust is someplace between good and pretty good. It's made of stainless steel, but it's the quality of weld that lets it down a little. I am no welder so it's difficult to explain, but to me it looks like they've welded normal steel to stainless steel, is this possible?

It has a birthday stamp on it and it's good to see that it was made 3 weeks ago and not something they knocked up years ago and has been sitting round.

It fitted perfectly and weighs 7lb less than the stock exhaust which is a bonus

But the bestest bit, is the sound

At idle and poodling around it is about the same sound level, just better. Hard to explain in what way, not louder, not deeper or throatier, just more. More sound but not more noise.

If its only 3 weeks old, thats great news. Lotus has just changed supplier after having problems with the previous. Yours should not give you the problems that some others have experienced with the lotus system.
