Engine rebuild time - but who to choose?

Hello guys,

I have decided that there is no way around it, it is time for my early V8 to be rebuilt. I live in the North East of Scotland and have given up trying to find a specialist this side of the border - so will drive her down to anyplace that is good and reasonable.

So I am now looking for advice from people who have had theirs rebuilt, or serious work done - who should I speak to, who can I trust?
