roof removal on G-car

can someone please tell me how to get the roof off? what other parts do i need to remove?

Which Esprit do you have ? Has it a glass or composite roof? How much of it are you expecting to remove? How much have you removed already?

thanks for the reply. it's the standard composite roof. i've removed the visor strip and the rear bulkhead cover. found lots of glue and no exposed hardware. i need to remove the back side enough to get at the bolts to take off the tailgate. i've got one boot latch stuck and would like to get an arm in and open it.

You may find it easier to remove your number plate and cut a small 'arm shaped' hole behind there.

no thanks. i wouldn't do anything that desperate. i did manage to get in from below. would still like to know how to remove the roof panel if anyone has done it.
