V8-GT revs only 7000

In the owners manual, it says the V8-SE model revs to 7000rpm while the V8-GT revs to 7400. Mine is a GT but cuts off at 7000, what gives, wrong chip in the ECU..? The car has not had any services yet(new.) I had the engine power measured, 387hp/5990rpm and 476Nm tourqe at 4200rpm, not bad..
