Another Problem I cannot get air to the footwell vents or the demister vents even with full fan. my car is RHD so I opened the glove box took out the liner and found a very narrow black tube hanging free I think this is the vacume tube for the flap actuator can any one tell me were this goes ????

Behind the radio pod you will find 2 cam actuated air valves for the flap diverters. They are fed from a T connection from the left side of the central tunnel under the dash and central tunnel meet.

And they are the biggest pain in the a*se to get to............the main vaccm feed comes from the right hand side just below steering colum(R/H drive),check this first,then cut both wrists (this will save time) and pull radio out ,swear cut wrists again,then find you have put the wrong vacum pipes back on the diverter valves...........have a laugh and do it all again............or just open the windows.

Anyone for future reference
Done this without getting cut!
The easiest way of getting at the pipes is to take out the glove box liner and then the stereo
