over the weekend, i was able to fix a cracked wiper fluid tank. i had to weld it much like metal. i used a cut up polyethylene milk jug as filler rod. i'm sure all the plastic reservoirs like the one on the brake master, can be repaired this way, and having identical plastic as filler material will make the weld stronger. consequently, don't throw out your broken ones. if they are destined for the tip, then please send them my way.

I had a cracked and leaking washer bottle a few years ago on my 89 turbo. I just glued teh crack with resin glue and it never leaker again. How simple is that ?

too simple for my taste, but if you'll excuse me i have to go milk the cow now, or there won't be butter to churn come morning. actually, i'd glued it twice already and the leak eventually opened up again when the heavy bottle was stressed from turns.
