I recently thought I would give my interior a rejeovenate and clean (we love our "babies"). The interior was immaculate, just a little grimey from daily use (though vehicle has only 24K miles... as the 2 P.O's never really used the car).
I applied the rejeuvenator oil... cooked the car in the afternoon spring sun for a couple of hours over a 3day period.... applied the pristine clean... then wiped with a warm damp terry cloth... and away came my beautiful tan leater (calypso red car) color.....
The Australian distributor has offered to re-color the seats (only part of the interior affected).... this is happening on Friday 11 oct. Will post results... NOT HAPPY JAN!!!

I wonder why that happened? What did the distributor say? Could the seats have been touched up with dye in the past? Weird. I know that some leather products use an oil base and leatherique will lift that and the some of the dye along with it.
SOrry to hear about your problems.

I am in process of redoing my leather. I spoke with, at length, the president of Leatherique. A GREAT guy and SO willing to help in any way possible.

The same exact thing happened to me. Partially due to the PO dyeing the leather and some original, I'm sure. It's all in the quality and depth that the dye was able to penetrate during the dyeing process. I will be re-dyeing my whole interior this winter once the Chicago winds start to blow!
