New guy here. Just found this site.
Discussion
As you can see, my name is Chris. I am a 13 year Porsche tech. and service manager.
I have had 8 914's, and a few import cars. I grew-up with a semi car-nut in my dad. ( If you have ever heard of a Bricklin, my dad was the guy who developed the air-doors and was the VP of the club way back when. )
I am looking into getting a Lotus as I have always liked the car and really started getting more interested when I started working on one. The guy who owned that car drove for a living and he had just over 160,000 miles on his 89 Esprit T., in 97. My best friend owns a super-sweet import shop in Georgia and is pretty close to Arnie at LSU. Arnie was the head-tech. last time I was there, many years ago, and right when I left he was promoted. Great guy. All of those guys there are great now.
I am hoping to pick-up an S4s as soon as I pay off my '99 Tacoma and sell my '73 2.0 914.
This seems like a great board, and the only true comprehensive Lotus site I have found yet.
Though I most likely will not have a Lotus soon, ( Don't pull the money out, don't pull the money out ), I am going to keep reading all of your post from time to time.
