Has anyone polished the stock '90 OZ wheels? and do they polish out nice?

I polish the OZ wheels on my '95 S4s as they're not laquered for some reason, others I've seen have laquered wheels.

I use Belgom Alu and with a bit of effort they come up nice

Good luck

Rick Boeck from the Chicago club has a set of stock SE wheels already polished. They look like mine except mine are quite a bit more shiney as mine are chrome. Our wheels are the only ones that look like that we have seen to date.

I just purchased a '91 SE with polished color keyed (calypso red) 7 spoke OZ wheels. I think they look great! I can e-mail you a photo if you want.

Hi Walt, I've seen those, they look really nice. I have the grey painted one's and I'm thinking of having them stripped and polished and I'm not sure if those will polish out nice or not, or if they are even the type of wheel that you can polish.

I managed to hang a Lotus web page on my wife's web site, and I've placed a few photos there. There is one of my wheels. Note that since my last reply on this topic I am certain that these wheels have been polished AND chromed. Check them out.

Mine are chrome, no color key on the wheels. My car had only one other owner and he says the car came that way from the dealer.
