This might sound like a real stupid question. But I read one of the S4S articles (Lotus Esprit World), and I quote :"and the complete lack of seat/steering wheel adjustment left me relieved that I am among the favoured few who actually fit." So my question is, can the seats be adjusted or not? I mean, can they be moved forwards and backwards? It would be insane if you couldn't move a seat forwards and backwards! I have never sat in an Esprit before, but I'm going to soon (hopefully). So please answer this simple (and stupid) question for me.

And one more question. Does anyone know how much the S4 weighs?

About 2700 lbs or a little more.
Grab the seat adjustment bar under the seat, pull up and slide. Unless you are very short under 5'8" you will not be moving the seats. I am 5' 7" and have moved the seat up one click on the rail.

Just don't yank it too hard, I actually had my driver's V8 come off in my hand. Amazing but true. Simple fix, it just slides back on...

Also, I am 6'1" and fit quite well. I pull the seat slightly forward from the back and recline it back just a bit. Very comfortable and nice driving position...

Similiar question, Do seats on the V8's move up and down as opposed to sliding front to back. Because I am 5'-4" and the seats feels a little on the low side.

Slide the seat up and crank the just the back up will aloow you to sit taller in the seat. If you do not want to sit upright you will have to put spacers under the seat rails.

I'd be surpised if an S4 is that light. My S4s weighs almost exactly the official 2950 with a full tank of gas as measured at our local reclaimation site (ie: dump).
