installed the RAID Daytona Aarbag steering wheel. What a difference an inch makes! Jim's kit made it a breeze. It looks and feels great and it will get a good workout at New Hampshire International Speedway tomorrow.

Unless you sure you want to be able to convert back to the Toyota lights I would NOT recommend the PBC tail light kit. Mine required a lot of prep and is still not perfect plus I dislike the extra seam it creates.
I'm not sure if I had to do it over again if I would go this route.
Lucas.

I haven't read about the mods so far on this car. Perhaps you could bring us up to speed on what's been done so far (which I feel sure you will enjoy !)
By the way, why is the wall between the engine and the luggage bay curved into the opposite direction to normal - is there something behind it at the back of the engine ?

Slow down with the mods Paul!
You don't want to run out of toys to buy for your Esprit in the first year of ownership, your supposed to stretch them out and savor them.
I'm terrible that way - I eat the whole container of ice cream with absolutely no intention of "saving it for later". My wife does that and all too often, she is full before she has had the best part of whatever she was "saving for last".

Thanks for the tip. Being able to restore it is one fo the reasons I had considered it, but another local Esprit owner went the other route (using the real Lotus part and cutting the lip to do away with the seam you mentioned) and it does look rather good.

Oh as for the mods - see my original post above - I've listed them there. It curves the wrong way to fit the twin intercoolers and blow-off valves.
Pics to follow - just returned from NHIS and a day kicking butt on the track.
Thanks for the chuckle,
Paul
