Blue Esprit 16/10/19 on the M4
Discussion
Weight is around 1250kg, power around 330...which is pretty much all you can get without mechanical mods on the 4-cylinder
Red race chip 1.25 bar boost max, I’m running 1.1 bar
De-cat
K&N panel filter
Forge wastegate
Engine rebuilt 20k ago, new pistons & liners etc
Paint wise, its not bad for a 24yr old car , I’ve had it for 9 years and still love it
Yours is a beast, how did the Esprit do when I pressed on?

A similar power to weight I would guess? Mine left the factory with 400 bhp/400lbft, although 205,000 miles later I'm unsure how many of those horses still remain! It's a hefty beast at 1477kg, plus myself and luggage, but from a rolling start I don't think that's as much of a problem.
I was gaining on you, but only slightly and not enough to see the exhaust flame out the corner of my eye.
Here is more about my car if you're interested: https://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?h=0&...
