At last, I seem to be able to upload pictures. (Although I'm still not sure of what I'm doing ! Whatever, here are three pictures of my son's bed. Before anyone asks, you can't buy one anywhere as it was custom built.
I found myself in a job in 1990 with a need to be on site for over seventy hours a week but with actual graft of about thirty hours. What to do with the rest of the time ?
So I went out and bought some wood and over a period of about eight months, I set about designing and constructing a bed for my son which was an exact scale replica of my dream car.
The bed takes a full sized adult single mattress and my son, who is now sixteen, still sleeps in it. Exclusive or what ??!

Sorry I missed this one!! WOW This is great and so detailed too. Was just thinking amagine taking a really rough mould of the sides, front and back off a real esprit and done what you have, would be very cool!!! How would you get into bed though....through the engine lid??

Don't have to be a kid! James (my son) is sixteen and nearly six feet tall and he still sleeps in it !

Oh my gawd! Bravo!!!! That is one lucky kid!!!
The side profile was my favorite, looks just like my car! Even has a blue interior.
Honestly, you should start making those on the side, you'd make a fortune!!! Very well done!

Roy,
Someone inquired about buying the donor car that Keen has to make a bed out of it.

Ever going to make through around here any time soon?

All over the engine from the BOV, maybe, but never on the floor under it!
