I recently had the R134 Freon topped off in my 91 SE because it was not blowing cold. This has not fixed the problem however. The compressor is running as it should but the air is only slightly cooler than the outside temperature. Does anyone have a common issue they suggest I look for? It is a U.S. model and I live in Las Vegas. Thanks

Not to mis-state the obvious but I take it your car was converted from R12 to R134, correct?

Other things to check might be the condensor up front clogged from road debris (leaves, grass etc.), bad expansion valve, thermostat adjusting knob on the console not working properly.

Any competent a/c tech should be able to diagnose it if you can't find the problem.

Good luck,

Yes, it was converted prior to my ownership. I'll take a look at the condenser and see if debris is around it.
