Calvin:

You've only had it for one year? You sure learned a lot about repairs in one year. You should put a picture of yourself there so everybody knows who they are getting all this advice from.

Well I have owned mutiple Lotus cars in the past. The cars were used for SCCA Solo II. The Elan was CP and the Europa TC was AP and used to kick Carrera butt all the time. I had in the past rebuilt the engines in the both the TC and Renault engines. I have read the entire service notes manuals with addendums and the parts list manuals for the Esprit Turbo 88-92 model years. I have been present or participated in 3 Esprit engine pulls, 1 engine installation, 2 brake jobs, 1 clutch master/slave rebuild, 1 body of frame removal, 2 instrument/dash pod removal/installation, 1 chargecooler pump rebuild, 1 heater system control rebuild, 1 shifter cable replacement, 1 alternator removal and rebuild, 1 Speedo repair, and various other minor repairs to numerous to list. All of this did not happen to my car. I have agreed to lend a hand to help other owners and to gleen the knowledge for when my time comes. That is the reason my chargecooler pump repair took only 2 hours when I had to do it for myself. I have also been present at the total disasembly of an S4 with items, placement of items, hidden location and routes usually not seen outside of the factory. Working on ones car is as much part of the hobby as driving and is storngly encouraged. It helps you become one with the car. I am in 2 pictures on the 2nd, 3rd photo page of my web site as well as many LOG photos that are now appearing all over the place.
