What price a new ecm????

I have just heard that my SE turbo is registering two codes, 42 and 51.
The engine has been stalling on some journeys whilst pulling up to lights.
Does anyone have any suggestions or ideas?
And if my fears do come true, how much should an ECM be in £'s?

About 140 pounds for the chip. In the USA we buy the S4s chip for 200 USD. Another 100-200 for the module itself.

That seems quite good, is this for actual lotus parts?
I got told about £900 for the complete ecm. Kind of scared the life out of me!!!!

Surely, if your ECM is reporting fault codes then it means it's detected one or more faults, not that it is itself faulty, so why would you want a new ecm ??

The module is a GM AC Delco part.
The chip is had through one of the performance tuners and is an updated S4s MK V chip.
