Considering an Esprit

Hi all, an interloper from the Tuscan forum here...

Once upon a time....:)...when I never thought I would be able to afford anything better than a XR3i, I lusted after an Esprit.

Now on my 3rd TVR and getting itchy feet, considering a V8 Esprit...

Has anyone gone from a Tuscan S to an Esprit? Any comments?

On paper, performance is similar, what about on the road? I imagine the Lotus is not so raw, and better around the corners (although that is hard to imagine, knowing how good my Tuscan is).

So, thoughts anyone - good move, or not?

Also got some major concerns around fitting an Esprit in my garage, compared to a Tuscan!

The Esprit is not a small car, even though it looks it. What kind of room do you have...

...Well, since you are coming from a Tuscan, no worries about the odd maintenance then? (Just a little TVR humour, no offense intended).

It handles better than any car I have ever driven, is more driver involved and is quite the rocket with no major modifications...
