Lotus, the Esprit and everything
Discussion
I find everything discussed here very interesting ....for those who don't know me, my name is Tony Kimberley, My Dad, Mike Kimberley was MD and CEO at Lotus up to 1991-92 and worked there for 22 years in various roles (Technical Director on Esprit was one, Project Chief on Europa TC, Chief Engineer on Elite and Eclat some others).
I have recieved several e-mails with questions for my dad and rather than individually answer technical questions on Esprit, design and transmission questions (Some problems with that one) I will be showing Dad this site and some of it's postings tomorrow. So............
If you have a technical, design or any other question please post here and I hope we can reply over the weekend. Hope this helps, I know he loves anything to do with Lotus.

What Lotus was his favorite? Do you own any currently?
Skerd Dad says " Favourite personal car was the Esprit and Elite as a family car. The Excel was the most sorted and reliable but my all time favourite was the Elite, not only for it's looks and useability but it's ground breaking technology and design. It was at least a decade ahead of it's time on the technology front!".
