where to get parts? 1994 s4
Discussion
The two most used US sources are:
JAE: JAEparts.com (web site is basically good only for the phone number)
RD Enterprises: RDent.com
There are some more smaller players, but those two are probably the most used in the US. You did want a US source, right?
Also, be sure to check out my web site for some cross references. home.flash.net/~hess/crystal_princess.htm
I try to be accurate. I like to just pick it up at O'Reilley's auto parts on the way home for that instant gratification. Just have to know what to ask for at the counter, and it ain't "1989 Lotus Esprit Turbo."

Congratulations on your Lotus purchase and welcome.
I see that you're from Canada. What side of the divide are you located? I'm in the Vancouver area.
Other than the US independent suppliers that you can find contact info about in the sidebars here and the generic crosses that Hess has compiled you're stuck with Weissach, Gentry Lane or John Scotti as Lotus dealers. None of the dealers really stock much but prefer to order from Lotus in Atlanta instead. The freight charges get kind of brutal for a small parts order.

Thanks everyone for your input. And Steve I'm located in Toronto. I got a quote last night from www.sjsportscars.co.uk and the prices (in british pounds) are not that bad evening with shipping. For example a clutch kit is around $300US. Has anyone try ordering from them?

Welcome to the Forum and Esprit ownership, I hope you enjoy both as much as I do
I've used Steve {SJ Sports Cars} quite a lot over the last few months, his prices have been reasonable, he's been really helpful, for example telling me what parts I also need to complete a job when I've ordered parts, lending me tools that he's been unable to supply and he's pretty much had everything I've wanted in stock and delivered it next day.
Don't know about the delivery to the US bit though

Erik:
Remember after currency conversion you'll need to factor in about 6.2% duty plus GST and PST. Brokerage too if your courier doesn't include it. It's that 20% tail end kick that always smarts with the plus, plus plus.
Taxes start to get sickening after awhile. Luckily I have a US address as well so I tend not to ship things into Canada directly. They are usually good about letting small things thru at the border if you have two domiciles.
