I just became unemployed so I drink coffee and wait daily for the mail man, (letter carrier hehe)...

Please double check the Chip #5 youre getting. Make sure that you get the latest Version 2. This is the real thing, because only this one has some high boost management bugs eliminated.

If you happen to get a cheap illegal clone one from Ebay or similar source please be aware.

Bugs? COuld you elaborate? I had the #5 chip, version 1, and loved it. Never had a problem. I now have the #6, version 2 and love it as well.

Yes Rich, the versions 1 had a quite "loose" high boost management causing overboost problems more likely than the versions 2 in some engine setups.

The version 2 is more "tighter" in high-boost-control.

I have a #5 chip (bought with my car two years ago) and I'm gettting strange boost spikes under WOT. How do I tell if I have a version 2 chip (chip says moto-concepts 330)?

so the chip I got is a V1, guess that is too bad.. sounds to risky to use in my car. I wonder how a seller who claims experience in these chips and says they are not copies and says they come from used cars that he wants to sell with stock chips, can claim that he does not know about V1 and V2 chips.. it took me all of a day to find out...

I'm guessing you got yours from Ian Fenech-Soler at impconcepts.com, AKA shokwaverider. I have asked him to cease and desist munerous times, without much luck. I am fairly certain the #5 clones he sells have a defect in a couple of bytes that makes them useless. Buyer beware.

Hey ... now the plot thickens...
This guy uses your car and your website as information on how to install the chip. He even mails a printed version with the chip. He says you made a deal with him about using your page. there is a link on the instruction page that is for your personal page and when i clicked on it I got bombed with popups so hard that my computer crashed hard for the first time in years..... I alerted the seller that yout page has some problems and he said that you guys had a deal. and he had tokeep the link there.

So man what a strange twist to see you pop up here saying he is bad news when he says he works with you..
