Knew I shouldnt have driven it on Friday 13th. Was running up the inside lane in traffic today and a car decided to cut accross in front on me and ended up in a tee bone situation, a very hard hit. I have an egg on my head where I hit the sunvisor area. The front is reasonably damaged, light pods etc, front LHS and RHS wheel guards etc. Small water leak at raditator but still drivable. Everything else seems O.K.

I must say the lotus is pretty tough, felt like a tank in the accident. Will need to get the front replaced. I have a 1990 Turbo, I'm in Aussieland. I dont know who to go too but will start doing some phone calls. Are replacement panels easy to come by for older models or will they need to use later models and if so will there be fit problems. Should I specifically ask for a different front ??

The car still feels straight and all but I am worried that slight deformation may impact on the car, engine etc. Is this something I need to specifically look at or is it likely to be O.K. I was surprised the engine cut-out switch didnt activate.

What a bummer. If anyone can provide some help I would appreciate it.

Depressed

Sorry to hear that.
email me a picture depending on the accident you may not need to have a front clip, but the lower valence and bumpers can be easily replaced. We have a good resource for fixing accident repair and it will look good as new soon. You can also contact Keen who lives near me for advice or I can talk to him for you. He is a master at restoring Esprit's.
