How do I get pictures on the forum ?????

At various requests, I have taken three pictures of my son's bed. The reason will be clear when you see it !! How on Earth do I get them on the forum ??? I am using a Sony memory stick and a PC running Windows XP. I have moved the pictures on to my hard drive. I have a basic, sound knowledge of computers but not to the extent that I have a huge computer vocabulary. Thanks !!

I've been out all day since 9:00am. ...

Read it... it helped me when I had the the same problem.

If you say the pics are worth seeing you will find the way.

As I said you have to upload them..you can't post them from your H/D

Upload them to Photobucket or Fotango first.

Then use "select URL" option, and post

thus:

If you hit quote on the post above you'll see the format.

the url being the address of the picture on the website not the website itself.

the way i did it was thus

without the dogears of course. Also the file has to be a picture that can be recognised by Pistonheads ie .jpg

Sorry, not famous for my patience. Find computers like bog paper. A necessary evil. URL is just 3 letters to me. Don't get me wrong. Use computers all the time...but doesn't mean I like them.

I'm beginning to regret I ever started this. Another fifteen minutes and no joy. How's this...The bed looks almost exactly like a White 2.2 turbo SE... OK??It looks so much like a car that people have to look twice at the (real, paper) photographs before they realise. It's about seven feet long, has detailed front and rear aspects and takes a full size single adult mattress. There is a picture of it on page 13 of issue 5 of "Lotus Life"
