V8 Oil Consumption

Okay guys (and gals), have any of you checked for what typical engine oil consumption on the V8 is? In other words, say in 5000-6000 miles of driving, how much has your engine oil level gone down? Has it gone down enough that you added some between oil changes?

Hi Kevin,
normally the Lotus V8 almost does not need/burn oil significantly ... most engines seem to burn almost none ;o)
