Anybody using one of these ? What price are they ? How easy to fit ? What difference does it make to the performance i.e. lower 0-60 in trade for lower top speed ? are there different models ? Any alternatives ?

If I remember correctly they cost at least $12K US. There are better (albeit non sequnetial) options out there, namely a Quaife LSD and Derek Bell's uprated shaft.... um... yeah, he has a nice shaft.

Just 5 lbs heavier than the Esprit's UN-1, six speeds and strong enough to handle hot V8's. RBT will even do custom output shafts for specific applications. I've been hoping someone with deep pockets would work out a swap for that transaxle.

Yeah that little V8 (in 2.6 ltr size I think) would be absolutely MENTAL ! I saw the vid of it in a small car, caterham i think, and it was sideways and screaming all the time. Back tyres would have to be cheapies cos they would be worn out in no time.
Just need a smallish Lottery win...
