Tyres arrived today so I've just taken her out for a quick spin and the gear box is fantastic.
It's unbelieveable, I can stick her in any gear with complete ease any time I like - it's soooooo much better than it's ever been since I've had her
The problems I had were;
1. The spline on one of the clutch plates had been rounded off, causing the plate to jam on the input shaft. This made it real work to get her into reverse as the clutch was constantly dragging.
2. A poorly adjusted reverse inhibitor meant that she was a real b*tch to get into 2nd.

She's in for MOT on Wednesday, so fingy's crossed.
