Hello, I'm looking for any pictures of engine or engine compartment of the earlier Stevens redesigned Esprit Turbo or SE, or the 40th Anniversary Edition. If anyone has any , please post them or email them to me, I would really appreciate it. Thank you!

Thank you very much! I'm using them as references for a scale model I'm building, of the Esprit I sat in a while ago, and hope to own one day One of the 40th Anniversarry cars, I believe the American car #9. I haven't seen the car around town in a while though, and when I was talking to the owner, he was trying to sell it for an NSX (and there is one of those running around here now).

I'd love to see more if anyone has them, either post here or sent to

Have you seen "Supercars - Lotus Esprit Turbo" by John Simister. ISBN 0 86101 441 3 This book regularly appears on e-bay and has tw full colour pictures of Mike Kimberley's own 40th anniversary Esprit on page 51 and a shot of the interior on page 32. Incidentally, you are not alone. Several years ago, I found myself working in a 120 hours a week job with hardly anything to do. Like the Birdman of Alcatraz, I needed a project. I built a bed which is a half size scale replica of a turbo se that my son sleeps in to this day. He's now 16.

Right, rearranged bedroom and taken 3 pictures of Esprit bed. ABSOLUTELY NO idea how the heck to get them on the computer !!! It's a turbo se by the way, same as yours. It's white. What colour is your car ?
