Thank you very much! I'm using them as references for a scale model I'm building, of the Esprit I sat in a while ago, and hope to own one day One of the 40th Anniversarry cars, I believe the American car #9. I haven't seen the car around town in a while though, and when I was talking to the owner, he was trying to sell it for an NSX (and there is one of those running around here now).

Have you seen "Supercars - Lotus Esprit Turbo" by John Simister. ISBN 0 86101 441 3 This book regularly appears on e-bay and has tw full colour pictures of Mike Kimberley's own 40th anniversary Esprit on page 51 and a shot of the interior on page 32. Incidentally, you are not alone. Several years ago, I found myself working in a 120 hours a week job with hardly anything to do. Like the Birdman of Alcatraz, I needed a project. I built a bed which is a half size scale replica of a turbo se that my son sleeps in to this day. He's now 16.
