The car was a genuine 22,000 mile example and had recently been re-commissioned by Lotus specialist Oakmere (formerly known as Christopher Neils) in Cheshire after around 10 years in storage at the owners home. I know they had a lot of interest following a recent price reduction and the car sold quickly afterwards which would suggest the revised price was seen as a good deal.
