Does anyone have an alternative supply or any info on where to look? Lotus price is £555 each plus vat which is way over the top. Tried Serck but they do not have anything that would fit. I cannot believe these are bespoke items, there must be a cross reference or another source?

Thanks in advance for any info.

My gut feeling on that is OEM only and I am trying to be the most complete and accurate source on cross referencing.

However, if you take them out and send them to a place like Griffin Radiators, I bet they could make you a set for a fraction of that. Give them a call and see what they can do. It would probably help to have a pic of them available so they could ball park you.

Not sure the v8 are the same as the 4 cylinder..? The v8's have two - doesn't the 4pot only have one?

Depends on SE or not. Either way, my choice would be Griffin or someone like them.

Hi All,
IIRC the two coolers are "simple" Setrab units ? I will look closer into that tomorrow morning.

Stay tuned.

SJ Sportscars has them for the V8 and SE. The V8 coolers are similar but a little larger than the two coolers on the SE.

I just replaced 1 of mine supplied by SJ SportsCars. It wasn't cheap, but nothing like as much as you've been quoted. £280 + vat.

He had it in stock and I got it next day

I bought similar sized units from a Setrab dealer. The fittings were damaged on my car so I also pick up some earls fittings and fitted then to existing lines. Setrab does not sell coolers with the same mount points or fitting locations as the lotus oem piece. Best bet is to get a blank cooler and have someone punch out the holes in the correct locations. Not the cheapest way to go.. in the end set me back ~$400 for 2 coolers.
