Cheers Calvin if you could let me know ASAP if either of the codes are correct. I will then be able to get a new 02 sensor ASAP to rule that out of the equation.

Mike.

Neither one is correct.
SJ lists the sensor as for Delco injection with part number A918E0322F. Close to the V8 code you supplied which was A918EOF322, only the F is in a different place. I don't know if SJ uses the Lotus part numbers, it is possible they have their own stock codes.
Part number A910E6755F in the official Lotus parts manual lists this as for 1988 with Bosch injection.
The parts manual lists part number B910E6930F for the Delco injection. Also sealing washer A910E7001F as a part of the unit. I wonder if this is because it is a USA federal car? But the Bosch part number is the same.

So are you saying the same Bosch Sensor fits the Delco and Bosch injected Esprits?
If this is so I have checked the Bosch code number with my local bosch dealer and the sensor is the same as fitted to Honda and Peugeots. My car at present has a peugeot sensor fitted.

No, What I meant to say is that the UK and USA Bosch injected cars have the same numbers for the sensor. But the numbers for the Delco injection from UK and the USA maybe different. SJ states the number for Delco injected cars as A918E0322F and if I am not mistaken the V8 just uses 2 of them. My SE is a USA Federal version. I did look up the sensor in the Lotus Esprit parts list manual for the SE and it shows part number B910E6930F with sealing washer A910E7001F as a part of the unit.

OK thanks for the help. So it could still be quite a difficult part to match up. I wounder if any V8 owners could shed any light on whether the 02 sensor is the same?
